Assure Connect™ is the perfect enhancement to the new range of phones designed for people who just want a good basic phone for emergency use or the occasional phone call.
For example the EasyCall 2 (available from Telstra) has an emergency call button (quick access switch).
By programming the Assure Connect™ emergency number (1300 820 493) into the phone, the EasyCall 2 will dial Assure Connect™ when the emergency button is pushed.
Assure Connect™ will then simultaneously dial up to 9 people ('simultaneous' means 'at the same time' NOT sequentially).
If the person who answers determines that Triple Zero is required they can press the zero key on their phone and bring Triple Zero into the conversation.

The advantage of this combination is that it also works outside the home. An alarm pendent for example only works within range of its base station (usually maximum range of 50 metres).
