Speed dial set-up guide

Speed dialling (also known as abbreviated dialling) lets you PRESS and HOLD a key on your phone keypad to DIAL a specific phone number.
Setup Assure Connect on your phone’s 5 key to speed dial the Assure Connect phone number 1300 820 493
Mobile phones
On most mobiles the speed dial is programmed by first creating an address book entry (call it "Assure Connect") and then assigning one of the keypad numbers to that address book entry. There is usually a menu item for achieving this.
On some phones you may also need to ensure that speed dialling is enabled. This is usually achieved through the phone settings menu. Click here to view a typical example.

Fixed line telephones
For fixed line phones, speed dial is either a capability built into the handset or it can be programmed by contacting your phone company.
For example Telstra and Optus provide speed dial as part of their network services.
If you want to add Assure Connect™ to a fixed line phone you can also use a little known feature called Delayed Hotline – read more.
iPhones
For iPhones a speed dial app is available through iTunes or the Apple Store
– it’s called “contact”.
